Like any business, AgriTrekker started out as a problem needing a solution. One of our founders, Deon, noticed that operations on their farm just weren't running smoothly - logbooks were lost or damaged, the occasional diesel theft, and barely any insights into vehicle and tank use. Deon took it on his shoulders to build a program that would tackle some of these issues. His Actuarial Science background allowed a swift excel solution that received much praise on their farm.

But it was only when Deon shared this solution with his then roommate and our second founder, Louis, that this problem with a solution became AgriTrekker. Our last founder, Rheeder, joined soon after and together the three of them took Deon's original concept and developed it further. With Louis leading development, his and Rheeder's Data Science backgrounds made for quick advancements. Deon heads product design, and Rheeder manages client relations and marketing.

At AgriTrekker we are convinced that in order to create a great product, we require on the ground feedback. That is why we have developed all our products alongside test farms. We value client feedback tremendously and are in close contact with all of our clients. Together we have added countless suggestions and built AgriTrekker to what it is today.
